FlowAnchor Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

At FlowAnchor, we value your focus and your privacy. We provide a transparent way for you to request the deletion of your personal data associated with our application. Whether you are using Facebook Login or a standard account, you have full control over your data.

How to Delete Your Data

Method 1: In-App Account Deactivation (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your data is directly within the FlowAnchor app:

  • Log in to your FlowAnchor account.
  • Navigate to your Profile by clicking your avatar.
  • Select Settings.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Deactivate Account section.
  • Click the Deactivate Account button.
  • A confirmation prompt will appear. Select the option to Permanently Delete My Data and confirm. Your account will be queued for immediate deletion.

Method 2: Via the Facebook Platform

If you used Facebook to log into FlowAnchor, you can revoke access and trigger a deletion request through your Facebook settings:

  • Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  • Click on Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.
  • Find FlowAnchor and click Remove.
  • Ensure the checkbox for "Delete your activity information" is selected, then click Remove again. This notifies us to purge your associated Facebook user data.

Method 3: Manual Deletion Request

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to contact us directly:

  • Send an email to hello@flowanchor.app.
  • Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email Address].
  • Our support team will verify your identity and process the manual deletion of your records within 30 days.

What Happens to Your Data?

Once a deletion request is initiated via any of the methods above:

  • Account Information: Your email, name, and profile settings are permanently purged from our primary database.
  • Focus Logs: All productivity data, "Waiting Mode" logs, and time records are deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Integration Tokens: All active Facebook or Google session tokens are immediately invalidated.
  • Backups: To ensure complete removal, data is cleared from our encrypted backup systems within a 60-day rotation cycle.

Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that we may retain certain limited information (such as transaction IDs for paid subscriptions) only where required by law for tax and financial reporting.
